There isn’t anything more beautiful than 10,000 acres in the Texas hill country. The air is so fresh it revives your soul, the wildlife abounds, and there isn’t another human in sight. The idea for the name, Merfs Condiments was born in the total darkness of a one room cabin here last winter. After some ruminating, the concept was born, and all the credit for the name, Merfs, goes to my brother, Tom Schexnaildre.
I’ve had an epic amount of fun hanging out with the business namesake, Murphy Schexnaildre.
He’s a silly, emotional, stubborn basset hound, and he makes the time here at the ranch very comical.
Hooray for the first year of business! We did it! We did it! Thank you so much to each and every one of you that’s supported me through this journey. It’s been an incredible year, and Merfs Condiments has been more successful than I could have ever dreamed.
Just so y’all know, Merfs Condiments will be attending the Parker’s Farmer’s Market starting on January 18, 2015, with dates intermittent until the start of the summer farmer’s markets. We hope to cultivate a new following down in Parker, Colorado.
