What’s shakin‘, hot sauce lovers?

I told y’all I’d be dropping some recipes, so here’s one from today:

Vegan Friend Rice with Merf’s Hand Grenade Sriracha

             Venison Fried Rice

Serving size: 1 person

Prep/cook time: 10 minutes

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup cold rice
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • ¼ cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup green onions (diced)
  • ¼ cup cashews, smashed or broken into bits and pieces
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Hand Grenade Sriracha
  • Salt (to taste)

Add the sesame oil to a medium sized skillet, and heat on medium high. Add cabbage, carrots, and green onions, cook for 1 minute. Add rice, cashews, rice vinegar, and Hand Grenade Sriracha to skillet, cook for 4 minutes. Salt to taste, and eat immediately.  This is a quick and easy lunch for anyone who’s in a rush for something simple and tasty!

For vegetarians: Fried scrambled egg can easily be added to this dish for protein. Crack one egg into a bowl, scramble with fork, and fry in 1 tsp of oil until cooked through. Remove from pan and dice. Add to fried rice when done cooking.

For meat lovers: Chicken, shrimp, pork, or beef are all good options for fried rice. Cook any meat before making the rice, and add to the dish in the last couple minutes of cooking to warm up.
